Can any tick bite give you Lyme disease?

No — only black-legged (deer) ticks in the genus Ixodes carry the Lyme bacterium. Dog ticks and lone star ticks transmit other diseases but not Lyme. Transmission also usually requires 24-36 hours of attachment.
